Testing Options

There are two ways to take the ABGC exam. As a candidate you have the option to take your exam either in a Prometric Testing Center (US and Canada) or through a remotely proctored internet enabled private location of your choice where you must provide a computer with a camera, microphone and a stable internet connection.

You will be able to take the exam online while a Prometric proctor is overseeing the examination process remotely. If you are interested in learning more about the Prometric ProProctor program, visit here. Visit Prometric’s website to learn more about the different testing options.

Special Arrangments for Candidates with Disabilities

ABGC and Prometric comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and strive to ensure that no individual with a disability is deprived of the opportunity to take the examination solely due to that disability. Prometric will provide reasonable accommodation for candidates with disabilities. Candidates requesting special accommodation must fill out the ADA form during the application process and follow Prometric’s ADA instructions when scheduling the exam.

The ADA application can be found within the candidate guide and linked in the exam application. ABGC requests that all accommodations are submitted within your certification exam application.
